Inspired by a flea market find with an unusual rounded and slightly elongated outline that he picked up in the south of France and wore until the arms literally fell off, creative director Andrew Blyszak – a ten year industry veteran and something of an eyewear obsessive – re-imagined these shades in partnership with a London-based master craftsman using materials now uncommon in an acetate-dominated marketplace.
Originally intended for personal use, the brand launched last year after finding that the original single matte black design had broad gender neutral appeal thanks to its effortless, classic form.
BLYSZAK collection continues its exploration of its signature shape with the introduction of new tortoise horn and porcelain, fawn and brushed silver metal colorways alongside gradient lenses in smoke, blush and amber for a distinct unisex collection available globally at premium multi-brand stores including Barneys.
