It’s time you eyewear lovers know about DokoMotto, a humble craftsman with the passion for creating unique glasses. A craftsman who truly believes in the value and quality of each eyewear, who choose not to mass produce his glasses overseas but stay true to his humble roots. Florent came from Seine et Marne as a grandson of farmers and truly holds a value to the term “Made in France”.
It all started in 2011 when DokoMotto’s founder, Florent discovered a little street of Le Cannet where he could setup his workshop. A quiet and quaint place where he created his first pair of glasses. There, was when DokoMotto emerged into the brand it is today. Surprising shapes with audacious colours, rare pieces that give style to the ones wearing them.
DokoMotto: “Doukou” in Japanese means pupil and “Motto” is the English word.
“This name is a wink to the Japanese world where the French brands are displayed without complexes, an openness to the world I hope I will conquer with this new collection.”
Each collection has only 16 designs and produced in a limited numbered edition, each spectacle frame is unique as handmade in the pure Jura tradition.
You can find them this year at Silmo Paris Stand 5 S 070.
