OLIVER PEOPLES and THE ROW announce a new eyewear collaboration that will consist of half a dozen styles inspired by iconic Oliver Peoples designs, ranging from a professional daywear to a late-night aesthetic. The collection lends itself to THE ROW’s effortless design sensibility and understated elegance combined with Oliver Peoples’ iconic eyewear and Southern California influence.
The project was born with the idea of marrying two brands with similar artistic sentiments, creating a storyline around the New York City professional woman and launching a collection based around a female inspiration of vintage iconic styles. Each frame in the overall collection represents specific traits from both labels, from the linear engraved metal to the discreetly placed logo plaques.
The collection consists of six styles reinterpreted from past Oliver Peoples designs and is centered on the O’Malley NYC sunglass, which is a larger and more feminine reinterpretation of the original. This marks the first time that Oliver Peoples has ever allowed an outside interpretation of this brand defining style.
